Beskrivelse
2021 Reprint of the 1918 Edition. This work was written in part to correct the impression that the Rosicrucian brotherhood engaged primarily in alchemy. The author, an initiate of the order, reminds his readers that it is mental or spiritual alchemy that is the essence of the Rosicrucian order. The book begins with the symbol of the Rosy Cross itself, its forms and significance. Then the reader is introduced to the Seven Aphorisms of Creation-the core teaching of the Rosicrucian order. The author then explores some of the spiritual implications of these aphorisms. The work is now attributed to William Walter Atkinson.Contents: The Rosicrucians and their secret doctrine -- The Eternal Parent -- The Soul of the World -- The Universal Androgyne -- The One and the Many -- The Universal Flame of Life -- The planes of consciousness -- The three higher planes of consciousness -- The seven fold Soul of man -- Metempsychosis -- The Soul's progress -- The Aura and the auric colors -- The Seven Cosmic Principles.
