The Ryan Saga

Geoffrey Lincoln discovers a dilapidated WW11 Ryan aircraft in a farmers shed. While restoring the aircraft he finds a faded letter in a greaseproof wrapper inside a wing panel. The letter is written in Dutch and is a message from a Dutch pilot in Batavia to his sister in Holland. In a chance meeting Geoffrey shows the letter to a fellow airline passenger who recognises the implication of its contents. Unfortunately this secret becomes known to others and so ensues a desperate race through northern Europe. A novel of comradeship, despair and romance
