The Runes: A Pandemic Journey manifests Kari Tauring's journaling and teaching of the embodied practice of Völva Stav. In its pages, she walks you through the sixteen Younger Futhark runes, the Anglo-Saxon Nine Herbs Charm, and the Norwegian Primstav perpetual calendar. While writing the book, Tauring was impacted by the Global Pandemic and uprising for justice in Minneapolis between 2020 and 2023 and that experience has been woven into the text.
