The Restoration of Grace

Grace Beeson is a young woman who wakes up and finds herself alone on the Kansas prairie. Injured and suffering from amnesia, the frightened woman is rescued by a handsome horse rancher, Cole Matthews. Cole offers to take Grace to a nearby town for medical assistance, with the hopes of finding her family. Ms. Millie, owner of the Boarding House in town, takes Grace under her wing and nurses her back to health. As time passes, with no word of who she is or where she came from, Grace finds her heartstrings being tugged by the handsome rancher, as well as a wealthy businessman who is staying in the same boarding house. Grace quickly learns to care for the people of Garden City. Once strangers, now like family, a substitute for the family she longs to remember. A mysterious diary is discovered not far from where Grace had been rescued. As she reads the heartbreaking details from the weathered pages, she realizes that the unfamiliar book is hers. The truth is unmistakable. In her own hand, she reads that she is searching for her wayward husband. Adding to her dilemma, she suspects that she is in the family way. The town doctor confirms her suspicions. What will she do? One day, she receives a wire. Her husband is coming for her. Her newfound friends are by her side as she greets her husband, a man she does not recognize. Unbeknownst to her, the man's real name is Luke, a scout from the wagon train on which Grace had been traveling. Luke plans a daring scheme-to pose as Grace's husband. She faces so much uncertainty, a future looming before her with a husband she cannot remember, and a blossoming love in her heart for another man.
