Beskrivelse
PLEASE NOTE: If you have purchased my book the 'Colonel & Mrs. Richard Fitzwilliam' as an e-book DO NOT PURCHASE this book, it is the same story word for word, published under a different name.
**Warning: One of the major characters in this story (NOT either of ODC) does not survive the book, and Elizabeth initially marries someone who is not Darcy before ODC eventually find their HEA. This variation sees Colonel Richard Fitzwilliam much more involved than in canon. It is a long story and yes, we follow multiple characters. Please take all of this into account before you buy in case the subject matter is not for you.**
We lose Fanny Bennet early and Bennet remarries, this time for love. Due to the early loss of their birthmother, the characters of some Bennet sisters (there are the 5 we all know from canon) are very different.
When he is wounded, Colonel Richard Fitzwilliam is shipped back to England once he is allowed to be moved. He desperately wants to return to his Dragoons and is not happy when the medical board does not declare him fit for combat in 1810. He is told to see them and reapply in May 1811.
The Darcy parents are alive in this variation, which does not stop our villain in chief from attempting to make his move against the Darcys through Miss Georgiana (Giana) Darcy.
After rescuing Miss Darcy, William Darcy and Richard Fitzwilliam both join Charles Bingley Netherfield park. While there they meet three very pretty Bennet sisters as the two youngest are not out. The traits of Pride & Prejudice that both Elizabeth and Darcy exhibit in canon are exaggerated for this story, which will explain the new title of the book.
Richard has vowed not to marry, or even court a lady until he is no longer a combat officer, and he is determined he will not resign until the little tyrant is defeated. Thanks to the behaviour of another, Richard and a lady are compromised at Rosings Park.
ODC will find their HEA, but the road will have some speed bumps and sharp turns in it along the way.
