The Raw Truth Addicted and Redeemed

Addiction is often the result of deeper issues that can arise early in childhood. In many cases, parents bear the responsibility for the decline of society. Whether it's due to excessive discipline, insufficient discipline, or a lack of values, these issues can deeply impact our world today. Too many families are ceaselessly pursuing worldly and temporary pursuits. Yet, the scripture (Matt. 6:20) promises eternal treasures that are secure in heaven. When we chase after God's will but allow selfish ambitions to lead us astray, we miss out on these promises. God's rewards for us are revealed when we seek His will. This pursuit is a crucial part of the journey of recovery. Neglecting the pursuit of Jesus Christ can leave us feeling adrift and without direction. Conversely, when we steadfastly pursue God, we discover His love, mercy, purpose, and genuine recovery.
