Beskrivelse

In this novel you'll revisit the artists' of Pine View, Tennessee, fifteen years later. You will be invited back to the ladies Friday night tea with some of the same loveable characters, and some not so likeable ones, where there is never a shortage of local gossip to debate at length. When forty-eight years old Adeline Hubble, a journalist by trade, comes to spend the summer at her mother's former cottage on Crystal Creek, she's hoping the time alone will help heal her broken heart. The last thing she wants is a story to cover, any civic conflicts to get involved with, or romance. On her first day, Adeline will discover something and is approached by the local paper to cover the story. Later she is drawn in to attending a public meeting regarding a potential prison being built near town. Last, but not least, she finds a local man becoming a distraction in spite of the rumors regarding his unsavory reputation. Adeline will learn that the only way to mend a broken heart, is to be open to the possibility that she can and will find love again. This is a sequel to The Cottage On Crystal Creek but is a stand alone story.
