Due to an unexplained visit from the authorities and the subsequent betrayal by Dawna, Jim and Nairb have no choice but to escape. Nairb uncovers additional details about Jim that he had never heard before, leaving him with more questions than answers.



To escape angry coyotes, they climbed a tree only to realize he had lost his power. He was able to play it cool, but only until he realized he was being followed by a dark creature. With his new ability, Nairb can go places by creating portals to avoid the shadow following close behind.
