"The Logical Problem of evil" comes down to how we reconcile the existence of evil and human suffering with an all powerful, all knowing and all good God. This argument is best known from the Greek philosopher Epicurus, later presented by Enlightenment philosopher David Hume, and continues to be debated by modern thinkers both academic and armchair. Utilized often by atheists and agnostics as a way to dispute the existence of God, a revisit of the topic in light of today's evils is warranted.
