The book The Quest for Knowledge is a sequel to The Silk Road of Contemplation. It follows the careers of the characters Prasannashila, Virincivatsa and others after their trek along the Silk Road and their return to Gandhara and India. It discusses the philosophy of the Yogacara and combines this with the search on the part of the young characters for an education in ancient India.
