Imagine a world where an object is in several places at once, where two particles a thousand kilometers apart instantly influence each other, and where a wall is no longer a wall. This mysterious universe which undermines all our intuitions is that of "quantum".
Health, environment, chemistry, biology, finance, aeronautics, cryptography, big data, artificial intelligence... all areas could well be affected by the quantum "Grail", namely the future computer so praised by science fiction. But other breakthroughs are emerging behind our ability to manipulate a single photon or atom: sensors of unsuspected sensitivity, new simulators, even new ways of communicating!
