Alistair is deeply into mysteries and why some people choose to commit horrendous acts. After Alistair suffers an illness, and two of the antibiotics he's given begin to transform his brain, he gains the ability to see inside peoples minds just be touching them. After realizing the capabilities of this new gift, Alistair is at a loss on how to use it. Does he use it to stop criminals? Does he use it to seek revenge on his mom and stepfather? Does he use it to help his brother achieve his biggest aspirations? Or will he become the thing he's always feared?
