Beskrivelse
Three princes and a princess are chosen by the Gods to leave their kingdoms and meet in the Precious Mountain (Kan Witz), in the middle of the tropical jungle where the Mayan Civilization was built. They will have to face ominous beings, with extraordinary powers, who are overrunning each of the kingdoms, and so far, nothing has been able to stop them.
They do not know each other, but they will meet and march to confront the enemy that intends to destroy them, without even knowing it, nor its origin, much less its power.
They must travel enormous distances, carrying only a backpack (Ikatz) with sacred plants, through which they will be able to fly, become invisible, travel with their shadows, become the double animal or another of their choice, among other prodigies; Their weapons of warriors and those provided by the powerful Shamans, their Masters, who have prepared them for this inescapable mission and will guide them along the way, without being able to intervene directly to help them, since they will have to act by themselves, according to the received teachings.
This Shaman Master not only transmits the knowledge that a crown prince must receive to be worthy of ruling his kingdom, but also gives them deeper knowledge, reserved exclusively for shaman priests of the highest dignity. They will learn to transform into their animal double or twin, to use their dream double, to travel at unheard-of speeds through the spirit of water, among other magnificent knowledge necessary to fulfill the mission entrusted to them.
The work is based on the Mayan civilization, its cosmogony, its cultural values, its social structure, its extraordinary knowledge in all spheres of knowledge, with emphasis on language, its calendars and its ancestral myths. From their myths the imaginary-supernatural was taken, which determined the central narrative thread: the twin animal of each human being that possesses supernatural characteristics, the invocation of the gods and ancestors to intercede before their unpostponable needs, the communication through specific techniques, with the spirit that governs a cave, a water source, a mountain, the wind,..., to receive their powers that allow them to perform feats.
