The Price of Loss

When Lisa Mann inherits an old house, she asks history teacher Ian West to help her evaluate the documents found there. Together they find cryptic clues that lead them to uncover the tragic story of Lisa's ancestor, a British agent sent to Russia in 1918 to rescue the Imperial family. The tale leads them to the pursuit of the mysterious and ill-fated Romanov treasure, known as the Tears of Christ. Lisa and Ian are pitched into a deadly world of danger and intrigue. Events spin out of control with terrible consequences, until they reach their final climax on a lonely cliff top overlooking the Channel.
