It was written to enable citizens of the world's democracies to better understand their Head of State: his abuses of power, his antics, his moods, his whims, his methods of government, but also and above all, his ambition and sense of duty...To illustrate all these theories, 10 biographical notes of personalities having exercised the functions of President of the Republic (Idi AMMIN, Charles De Gaulle, Abraham LINCOLN, Mao ZEDONG, François Mitterrand, MOBUTU, Richard NIXON, Ronald REAGAN, Franklin ROOSEVELT), and of a President in exercise (Paul BIYA), appear in the second part of the present work.
