Jimmy's an EMT - an Emergency Medical Technician. He wants to make a difference. Make it better for trauma victims. Help them to have a better experience. Ease the suffering. He seeks guidance. Struggles with his own weaknesses. Encounters resistance from fellow co-workers. Discovers they are just as much victims of trauma as the patients whose lives they work to save. All except one, that is. Joe. Joe, the hard ass. Joe. The cruel, heartless, apathetic thorn in Jimmy's side. One day, they get a call, and Jimmy is faced with the unthinkable.
