THE POOR WHO WERE WEALTHY by Martin Majaji is a short story about how choosing to live the good life sometimes revolves around not worrying about timing.
Life is a product of the decisions we make and living the consequences of those decisions regardless of the timing.
What is common amongst all of us is we believe we deserve to live the good life. What is often missed by many is that opportunities knock at least once in everybody's lifetime. But you have to be prepared when they knock because they can knock when you least expect them to.
This short story follows a family whose knock came when they least expected it. The timing may have not been appropriate but a decision had to be made.
THE POOR WHO WERE WEALTHY will make you learn how to not let timing get in the way of you living a good life.
