Though surrounded by loved ones and friends Arlette Bardot feels old, lonely, and bored with her life. Filled with nostalgia she longs for the times of long ago when her beauty reigned, and she blossomed in her youth.

Perceiving herself as burnt out and over the hill Arlette seeks rejuvenation in the wrong place.

A mystical remedy to cure her discontentment teaches her a lesson about searching out of her zone for restoration in a tabooed setting.



Arlette learns too late that she should have been grateful for the life she already had instead of chasing behind a fleeting illusion that alluded to her idea of elation.
