Beskrivelse
Orphaned as teens, Joe and his twin brother Brendan were put through hell growing up. Mistreated and mishandled by those entrusted to give the boys the best upbringing possible, the brothers instead found themselves in a situation out of their control, stuck in an abusive cycle that kept them at the whim of an organised group of sexual predators. However a fully grown Joe had been able to put this part of his childhood behind him, making a life for himself as a contractor for a top-secret government agency known as the Company. Now codenamed Picasso, an assassin tasked with bringing down the scum of the underworld, Joe works to suppress the pain of his childhood by taking it out on others just as deserving. But when he gets the call that his kind-hearted brother Brendan has committed suicide, a further inspection of the crime scene reveals that Brendan's decision was influenced in no small part thanks to a letter from the paedophile ring he thought he had escape. Full of rage that his tormentors were allowed to hurt his family once again, the assassin embarks on a revenge-fuelled mission to take down those responsible for his brother's death and finally face the demons of his past. Over the course of Gary Cooper's new novel The Picasso Touch, Joe and a group of trusted allies embark on a blood-soaked and brutal mission to avenge his fallen brother. However, they quickly realise that there's much more at stake than personal revenge as the brilliant assassin comes face to face with a threat much greater than he could have ever imagined.
