In the fall of 1963, Dan Beasley, a 14-year old ranch-raised boy, rodes a school bus 35 miles to High School in Bishop California. Dan had just graduated from the 8th grade in a one-room schoolhouse. This is the story of how he made his way onto the football team and made new friends and won the respect of his coaches and teammates. This story is based on actual events during the fall of 1963 at Bishop Union High School, Bishop California. GO BRONCOS
