Cole Wrigley knows loss all too well. His mother and sister have passed away, and, a month after his eleven-year-old daughter (Gracie) is diagnosed with leukemia, his wife is killed in a car crash. Inevitably, Gracie is to go, leaving Cole alone in the world. On cue, a new girl arrives...kind of. Gracie's doctor, Harper, is his striking old high school flame. She's now married to his ex-best friend. Awkwardness ensues, but with Gracie by his side, Cole is on a mission to grab his destiny in Harper before his daughter meets hers in Heaven.
