This work is a famous exposition of Advaita Vedanta by the outstanding Vedanta philosopher of his day. Sri Vidyaranya Swami was the Jagadguru of Sringeri Sarada Pitham monastery from 1380 to 1386ce. This is one of the four monasteries set-up by the great Adi Shankara to establish and maintain the Advaita Vedanta tradition. The book contains many beautiful thoughts and insights and logically explains the theory and practise of Advaita Vedanta with a view to self-realisation.
