Beskrivelse
In this monologue, a woman recounts her struggle to overcome the pain of her abortion. As she remembers the events of that day, she compares the descriptions others gave her to dry cleaning-to having a spot removed. But although that's what she was told it was like, she feels lied to. Yes, there was some physical pain, but that passed fairly quickly. What followed-and haunts her-is the emotional pain. "They told me lots of women have abortions and never think about it again. I'm not one of them." She bluntly tells the audience, "I didn't just remove a spot."Topics: ABORTIONCharacters: 1 FEMALEParticipants: 1Author: Donna Lagerquist
