The Other Side of the Storm is the story of LisetteTrafford, who finds love in college during the turbulent civil rights era of the 1960's in Louisiana. This love between a Creole girl and a Caucasian boy will produce secrets that will come to a boil over forty years later. A battle between good and evil ensues as Lisette stands strong in order to protect her family. Jay Ross is the love of Lisette's life after they become engaged in 1966 he suddenly disappears. Lisette finds out she's pregnant a few months later. Ashamed, broken hearted and distraught she moves to Harlem, NY to start a new life.
