Beskrivelse
The One That Got Away is a two-act comedy play for 3 male and 3 female actors aged from twenties to sixties. Trevor is a confirmed bachelor. He spends his free time fishing on the same riverbank he first frequented as a child. He has loved, and lost. A chance encounter with old fishing chum, Rod, and his loving wife of forty years, Annette, might lead Trevor to rethink his life choices. Then along comes Carol... With flashbacks to younger days and the troubles of aging, this play combines elements of comedy with the poignancy of life. Life, love and fish... The One That Got Away. Details on how to obtain the performance licence are in the book.
Note: There are 8 characters aged in their 20s. It is the playwright's intention that only two actors should take on four of these small roles each.
