Denise was a soulless sociopath with money to burn and urges to satisfy, and then she met Brandon. He was a celebrity seeker without a love for her, but with no regard to the trail of destruction, he would be willing to cause to make her his own.
The series covers a wide spectrum of social forces all vying for supremacy, from corrupt populism, social media influencers, hackers, and gangs, through to old money and faith.
