The Oak Tree

Jake, Farmer, Marshall and Carter Rice are average boys from North Carolina: Bike riding, fishing, and roaming the woods. The one spot they call their own is under the Oak tree on the Marshall farm. After Jake's chores on the farm, it's fun as usual--until he and Carter Rice find the chopped up body of seventh grade Taylor Wilson. Twenty years later, Jake Marshall is still living in the shadows of that day, the day he and Carter were marked the prime suspects. Now, after so much time he is ready to tell his side of the truth, even if it kills him.
