This is a true story of a regular Joe traveling through Central America and finding himself in being a hotel manager of a four-star hotel in a secluded bay in Nicaragua.

Sometimes, you follow the white rabbit down the hole without knowing why...traveling with your partner on two BMW motorcycles into Central America, falling in love with a country you dont't know anything about and falling in love with a hotel, a hotel owned by an expat willing to listen to your suggestions on how to make his project work. Without realizing it was happening, he took a deep dive into the world of hotels, revenues, guests, and booking services.

Through a series of fortuitous events, he became the manager of this hotel. Over the next ten months, he would work there for free, looking - almost obsessively - at every opportunity to make this Central American spot the destination for people from all over the world. He would discover how the rules of daily business worked a little different in this country. He would create business partnerships, he would lie, bribe, fake, promise anything to get the next guest, next recommendation or next stay extension.
