In the eyes of many analysts in today's world, the Democratic Republic of Congo has no chance of being included in the list of African countries that aspire to become economic lions and political tigers, like the Asian dragons presented everywhere as the model of successful emergence in the current world order. Many Congolese subscribe to the same conviction and cast the same shadows of despair over the country, without realizing that it is the spirit of despair that breeds habituation to misfortune and burial in catastrophism.
