"The Nature of Middle-earth" is the first publication of J.R.R. Tolkien's final writings on Middle-earth!
J.R.R. Tolkien’s "The Hobbit" was published in 1937 and "The Lord of the Rings" between 1954-1955. What you may not know is that he continued to write stories about the Middle-earth universe until his death in 1973. In "The Nature of Middle" he unfolds new sides of his magnificent universe as he takes us through the metaphysics of Elvish immortality, the Powers of the Valar and from the geography of the Rivers to the Beacon-hills of Gondor and so much more.
