Beskrivelse
What haunts the centuries-old Woodside Cottage?
The year is 1937; following the death of his aunt, Oswald Fernsby has inherited her charming, isolated cottage. The cottage sits on the edge of Styants Wood, a dense ancient forest located within the Kent Downs and home to an Iron Age fort. It should be the ideal retreat, but Oswald soon discovers it's anything but; he had planned to live there but barely managed to stay there for one night.
Convinced a dangerous presence haunts the house, Oswald calls on the noted spiritual medium Jocasta Bradman to investigate. She enlists the help of her three associates from the famous Pluckley Psychic Historical Society. Their investigation leads them to Ightham Mote, a medieval moated manor house, and the work of the evil Witch Finder General, Matthew Hopkins, in the year 1645. They find themselves entering a world of ancient magic, folklore, superstition, and witches.
Meet Jasper Claxton, a time-travelling ghost with a sense of humour in these eerie, historic, amusing, paranormal mysteries. The Ghost from the Molly-House series will appeal to fans of antiquity, period detective novels, tales of haunted houses, cosy mysteries, fantasy, and all things that go bump in the night.
