In this laugh-out-loud satire about the current obsession with productivity, Jane, an ordinary thirty-something office worker, has her life turned upside down after an unusual encounter with a pesky but persistent mouse.

The pharmaceutical company where Jane works encourages everyone to sprint through the marathon of life. They plan to release ProlifEase, a new drug that promises to make people even more productive. Jane hopes this new drug will allow her some much needed downtime and stress relief. But then she learns the truth about ProlifEase. After a surprising and strange encounter with a peculiar mouse, Jane rebels and learns a new way of living and working in this rollicking adventure.
