I came to the mountains after my old partners murdered my wife.
I’m safe here and self-sufficient—but alone.
Then I find Belle: stranded in a snowstorm and about to die.
I save her life and take her home.
She’s lonely; so am I.
We band together so we don’t have to face the holiday season alone.
Nature takes its course; now a baby’s coming.
But so are my ex-partners.
