The Most Beautiful Child

In this dazzling story featuring birds of many sizes and colours, a proud Mr Peacock learns a valuable lesson. Having asked Mrs Owl to take his child's lunch to school, Mrs Owl agrees, but asks how she will know which is his child. 'Just look for the most beautiful child there,' says proud Mr Peacock. Mrs Owl looks and looks at the children in the playground, but in the end she can't deliver the lunch. As she informs Mr Peacock, she simply wasn't able to find a child more beautiful than her own!
