Beskrivelse

With a swift blade, heathens killed almost everyone in Britta's village. Britta begged to die too. She'd always been an outsider amongst her people, but she preferred to die with them. Her request was denied. Instead, along with the other young women in her village, Britta was escorted to a stronghold miles away that would become her new home. As time went on, Britta found that she was still the outsider. Rather than being kept with the other captives, she was given her own room and treated like a queen. Some would have enjoyed her new life, but Britta couldn't remain a captive. There was something inside of her that told her she had to get away. After being in the stronghold for ten months, Britta knows there's only one way out - through the woods rumored to have a vicious monster that kills anything that trespasses. Can Britta convince that monster to kill her and end a life she deems meaningless? Or will Britta's adventure through the woods reveal there's a reason why she's never fit in?
