The Maze

The story is set in the 17th Century in Europe. It is a narrative about a person (myself) living in a countryside, in my mansion house in Eastern Europe. It describes a mansion owning a neighbouring beautiful garden. The story centers on the garden where there is a maze made out of green, leafy hedges. The story explains a contest where the objective is to explore and discover one's way out of the maze in night time under candle-light.
