Fitzroy Logan struggles with physical and emotional trauma while growing up in Australia's harsh outback regions. Tragic incidents continue to plague the boy into adulthood, causing him to retreat farther and farther into the dark recesses of his troubled mind. Every time he gains a sense of equilibrium, a glimmer of hope, he is brought asunder by cruel and unforgiving circumstances and people.
