The Lord Is My Portion

When you say, "The Lord is my Portion," you are standing on the promises of Psalm 119:57-58. "Thou art my portion, O LORD: I have said that I would keep thy words. I intreated thy favour with my whole heart: be merciful unto me according to thy word." This is powerful. From this point, you are no longer in the normal or physical realm. You have metamorphosed into the supernatural. If you are not careful, you may be deemed insane for your persistent faith. Your manner and attitude will transcend the realm of the tangibly. What you will be seeing, others will be overlooking. Inadvertently, you will be claiming your rightful position as a child of God. Beloved, you have become joint-heirs with our Lord Jesus, a peculiar individual because the Lord is your portion. It is the supernatural that pours forth the anointing because God first loved us. He stipulated the covering of the Blood of Jesus in anticipation of tribulations and trials. As a result, if you are a follower of Jesus Christ, it translates that, He is your portion. You have spiritually become a Levite to the Most-High God under the anointing. This is a befitting gesture for God said: "I have taken the Levites from among the children of Israel instead of all the firstborn that openeth the matrix...therefore the Levites shall be mine;" (Numbers 3:12.) This gives us the much needed boldness in the face of trouble and turmoil in this present time.
