The Littlest Tree is the story of a very young forest tree finding his way in a busy and gigantic environment. It is a coming-of-age tale of him finding a special friend with whom to share his feelings, and then receiving helpful advice from this friend.
He puts his friend's advice to action in his life, and he slowly and steadily learns heartfelt lessons lasting for a lifetime. The Littlest Tree finds that sharing one's time and energy can go a long way in helping others; these actions can lead to a sense of deep fulfillment. Also, they can lead to personal and inner happiness.
About the Author
Saundra Howell-Grant has strived to educate children and teens in educational and spiritual values. Raised in a Christian home, she enjoys spending time with youth in any environment. She has taught in public schools, as well as several ministries in her church, currently being the Director of Children's Chapel (also known as Church School.)
Known as a "storyteller," she enjoys sharing life experiences with family members and friends, especially children. These experiences are designed to develop open discussions with the readers; and also, to learn from each other, and to inspire these readers in a world that can be challenging and ever changing. She and her husband will celebrate thirty-seven years of marriage this year and have three grown children and a grandchild.
