The Little Tree

UPDATE 2024 - This book was written in 2017/18 for my daughter as a high school graduation present. It started as something I was going to have printed just for us, but then decided might be cool to publish for real on Amazon. Since then, she has given me not one, but two grandbabies. Being a Grampy is the best thing in the world! My little tree has grown and planted her own little trees!

Being a parent is hard. She's the oldest of three and didn't really get me at my best. I'm also the oldest of five brothers, so this we have in common. Well, I've been watching her with grandbaby number one, and it's easy to see she's better than I was. So much love flows out of her. Which, as a parent, is all you can ask. If you plant a tree, you hope it will be bigger than you.

ORIGINAL BLURB 2018 - The Little Tree recounts the journey of a newly planted tree as it is moved, knocked over, replanted, and loved. The tree is representative of the daughter of 'The Man' in the story as she is growing up.
