Beskrivelse
The Little Floofs' Book of Money is a lighthearted look at learning the very basic concepts of money. The book introduces three Samoyed puppies who are siblings with different money habits. Saver Susie is the sibling that understands why money must be set aside for their needs, while Spender Sam and Fancy Phoebe enjoy spending cash for the things that they want. Saver Susie helps her siblings learn the importance of saving to help each other. The three pups learn from each other when their critter friends at a local animal shelter are in danger of losing their home because the Floof Shelter is running out of money. The Floof siblings bond together to raise some money and use savings to help rescue the shelter. Their activities help them realize the importance of saving for early financial goals and the importance of working with neighbors and the community. They also raise the money to adopt one of their Shelter friends, Scratch, bringing that puppy into their family. Basic concepts of money, where it comes from and where it should be saved are introduced. The book is meant to be read with a child age 4 through 8, although it will be enjoyed by children of all ages. The book is colorfully and brilliantly illustrated by Jamie P. Harper. There are two activity pages at the end. Samoyeds are a very special breed of dog, well known the world over for their beauty, their gentle nature, and happy smile. They have a special attachment to children of all ages and are well loved by them.
