Yuliya Romanov never expected to find herself in the possession of a star. In fact, moving from prestigious Moscow to the humble city of Chrome Creek wasn't what Yuliya expected at all. All she wanted was to make some new friends at her new high school. Plans change when amorphous invaders from outer space known as the Tints emerge from the cosmic shadows to threaten humanity, and a mysterious woman from another planet appears.
