Beskrivelse

Meet Father Hilarion, an ascetic living in the Alaskan wilderness. However, do not think that he is somehow different than the likes of us - he is relatable as anyone. And he too struggles with the brokenness of human life. Father Hilarion is a sorrowful, yet determined monk, who knows what it is like to face deep pain and sadness. When he was very young, he was orphaned and taken in by his grandparents who mistreated and neglected him. Christ was the furthest thing from his mind in those years - as he felt abandoned and not at all loved by God.

Still, God did not allow this kind soul to perish, and brought about his conversion as He alone knows best. Father Hilarion then became a monk and dedicated his whole life to God, seeing the beauty and grace so missing from his life and youth. For in Christ, Father Hilarion finds a loving friend and companion, who cares for him and desires his ultimate happiness and salvation.
