The Letter

The Letter is a story of people whose lives intersect as they grapple with life altering events that dramatically change how they see their lives and their place in the world. It is a story of secret shame as people not unlike you and I struggle to come to terms with the longing for acceptance that they know will be denied causing each of them to contemplate what the world would be like without them in it. On the surface, Layne Guthrie, an elementary school teacher, Anthony Whitaker, a high school football star, and Melissa Jeffries, a successful realtor, have nothing in common, but underneath the fa ade they're all dealing with forbidden passions that threaten to upend their lives and everyone around them. Should they choose to surrender to what they know to be wrong, or suppress the darkness that will ultimately bring destruction? Eventually they all give in, but only one will pen the letter bringing an end to their torment and disgrace. When you can't see your way through, there's only one way out.
