The Letter to the Hebrews

This study of Hebrews is based on a series of talks given at Lostock Christian Fellowship Church in Poynton, Cheshire.

The letter to Jewish Christians in the first century, who were in danger of turning back to Judaism. The letter shows that in every way their new path was superior to the religion they had known from childhood. It is a letter of encouragement for them to hold fast and focus on Jesus, the founder and perfecter of faith, and offers a full explanation of the gospel as the writer of the letter examines the Old Testament Covenants in the light of the New Covenant
