The Learning Season - Comeback

John Douglas, a junior star athlete at Fort Sage High School, continues to be tortured by grief and the recurring nightmares about his father who is MIA - possibly KIA - in the Iraq theatre of operations. Events intertwine his life with a wheelchair bound paraplegic student who is new to the high school, and who questions his own purpose in continuing to live. What can each offer the other?
