The Leaping Tuna of Kirschenbaum East is the humorous story of a high school in Davenport, Iowa. Consumed by the desire to have his school honored in the Blue Ribbon Schools Program, the principal, Alexander Papadopoulus, must overcome a dyfunctional staff and a superintendent whose only concern is the one student enrolled in the Universal Baccalaureate Program.
