The Language of Pigeons

Set in the times of swords and kings, two friends meet as children and grow up together in the city of Indellington. Together, they invent a secret language they name "Mutt" which quickly becomes their pet project. As the two dip their toes into adulthood, they're broken apart as one's family moves to the far off capital of the Odivian Empire. Now separated by a great distance, they keep in touch though letters and continue to work on Mutt together. After the years go by, and their lives move forward, communication between them slowly begins to erode away.



In the background of their lives, two political bodies fight quietly and almost unseen. Unknown to the distanced companions, their conflict will change the course of the friends' fates as well.
