The Lake

Cherokee legend has it that if a person's life ends violently, and inappropriately, their spirit will return to continue upon its path. Skye sees the spirit of a boy on the island in an Appalachian Mountain lake. It is a ghost she knows is integral to her past and her Cherokee blood. A ghost that haunts her, a ghost she knows she is in love with. An Apache boy sees the girl's spirit by a lake in Arizona. He too becomes infatuated by her image. Why have their spirits been reawakened? When and why were their previous lives ended inappropriately? Will they ever meet? Most importantly, why should they meet?
