The Lady of Crofton

Crofton village, a gentle peaceful village in the Cotswolds region of England. Gentle and peaceful...until last summer. Then on cold wet days, a woman is seen roaming the fields and forest around the ancient village, and especially around the old castle of D' Arby Manor. No one knows where she came from or what she seeks in the graveyard on wet nights. What they do know is that she is becoming more violent in her actions against the villagers. Elizabeth Heath calls in renowned archaeologist Ian Blackworth from Oxford to try to stop the destruction of an ancient site near her newly acquired property. Their investigation though strained by their antagonistic interaction, results in the discovery of a horrible travesty that occurred in the 15th century, at the old manor.They not only encounter an unholy apparition bent on revenge, but the human that is aiding it.
